Warmth with a lineage.
The Story
The Cotton That Almost Disappeared
In the 1700s, French-speaking Acadians were exiled from Nova Scotia. Many rebuilt their lives in the swamps and bayous of South Louisiana.
They grew brown cotton.
They spun it by hand.
They wove blankets, bedding, and trousseaus for their daughters.
Over time, synthetic fibers nearly erased this heritage crop.
It survived because a small group of Louisiana farmers chose to revive it from seed.
Today, Acadian Brown Cotton is grown organically, without herbicides or pesticides, preserving both the fiber and the culture that shaped it.

How it Feels
Practical. Grounded. Deeply satisfying.
Heat gently in the microwave.
Place between the sheets on a cold night.
Rest on sore muscles.
Warm your hands before dawn.
The rice holds warmth slowly and steadily.
The cotton breathes.
The herbs release a subtle, soothing, natural scent.
It feels substantial, because it is.
